Vincent "Vinny" Mckinnon is a heavily armed survivalist who initially holds J.J. prisoner. He assists Howe and J.J. in using an armored tractor to reach the crash site but is captured at the fort. After being freed by Howe, he arms the camp's prisoners and survives the final nuclear explosion on a sailboat.
