A 35-year-old hippie living on disability benefits in Venice Beach. He spends his days drifting along the boardwalk and reading beat poetry at a local bar. After seeing Linda emerge from the sea, he becomes intensely smitten and pursues her with poetic rambles, misinterpreting her friendliness as romantic interest. His obsession escalates into stalking, ultimately leading to tragedy.
