An opera inspector who pressures Christine Dubois to quit the theater and marry him. He devises a plan to lure the Phantom out during a performance by keeping Christine silent. He pursues the Phantom and Christine underground, but during a shootout at the lair, Anatole Garron deflects his bullet, causing a cave-in that traps the Phantom while Raoul escapes with Christine.
