The loyal general and protector of the Kalingan royal family who guards Prince Aryan and Princess Kaurwaki during their exile. He accompanies Kaurwaki back to Kalinga to fight the traitorous prime minister. During the war, he attempts to assassinate Asoka, realizes his true identity, and is killed.
