The film's protagonist and narrator, daughter of Igraine and a Cornish duke. Possessing prophetic abilities, she is trained as a priestess of Avalon but grows disillusioned with the High Priestess's manipulation. She unknowingly conceives a son with her half-brother, bears him in exile, and later becomes Queen of a northern region. Ultimately, she rescues the dying king, witnesses the fall of Camelot, and finds renewed faith in the old ways.
