The primary antagonist and killer. A sociopathic son of a prominent banker, he murders Margaret Larkin and plans to kill the rest of the Larkin family to seize their petroleum-rich property. He attempts to frame the high school principal. He becomes increasingly unhinged due to hallucinations of the Larkin phantoms and heavy drinking, ultimately snapping and facing his comeuppance.
