The originally incompetent boss of the advertising agency who loses control of his firm to Michael Rimmer. Later, he attempts to assassinate Rimmer while the latter is riding in an open-topped convertible with his wife, but the attempt fails and Ferret falls to his death.
Rimmer replaces Ferret as the head of the advertising agency.
