British intelligence officer and Norah's husband. He is aware of her past with Tennant. After successfully capturing Conlan, he impulsively rushes out to confront his wife's history, only to be ambushed and abducted by Sinn Féin supporters. He is eventually freed thanks to Tennant's forgery and witnesses his friend's arrest.
