Michel Vaillant's best friend and teammate at the Vaillante racing team. He competes alongside Michel in international races and assists in the rescue of Henri Vaillant from Ruth's kidnappers. During the escape, he is shot by Ruth's henchmen, which forces Michel to take his place in the #8 car for the final stretch of the Le Mans race.
