The founder and owner of the historic Vaillante racing team. He is the father of Michel and Jean-Pierre, and husband of Élisabeth. After his team announces a Le Mans return, he is kidnapped by Ruth to blackmail the family into losing. He is eventually rescued by his son, Julie, and Steve, and witnesses his team's victory.
