The right-wing president of Chile. He is the target of Jaime's assassination plot. Jaime infiltrates his household by securing a job as the groom to his prized horse, Bucephalus. Jaime poisons the horse and holds the president at gunpoint during a dog show, but his hands become paralyzed, foiling the attempt.
