A slum resident who loves butcher Vadivelu. To help Rani marry Ramesh, she disguises herself as a male suitor. She is later revealed to be the biological daughter of Paramasivan and Vadivu, having been swapped at birth for a female baby. She eventually reconciles with her family and marries Vadivelu.
