The American wife of concert pianist Claude Manelli. Initially suspecting the new imposter (Toni) of murdering her husband's rival, she is convinced of his innocence and falls in love with him. They attempt to escape to America together while Claude pursues them. After being captured and Toni's brief imprisonment, she decides to wait for his release.
