Estranged father made redundant after decades apart from his son. He initially bonds with Gabriel through his own classic rock records but later adapts to his son's psychedelic music to facilitate therapy. Upon learning the fate of Gabriel's drafted friend, Henry reconciles with his son, attends a Grateful Dead concert with him to create a new memory, and passes away peacefully shortly after.
