A veteran welterweight boxer who lives across the hall from Gloria. After saving her from Rapallo, they fall in love. Framed for his manager's murder, he tracks down Rapallo, escapes gangsters, kills him in a warehouse, and reunites with Gloria at Penn Station to travel to Seattle.
