A hardened street orphan and de facto leader of a group of marginalized children. He steals crucial evidence from a cartel henchman and secretly protects Estrella. Haunted by the loss of his own mother and bearing facial scars, he initially distrusts Estrella's magic but ultimately allies with her to confront the cartel boss. He sacrifices himself during the climax, dying from a gunshot wound before guiding the group to their escape.
