Sam's same-aged classmate and the only other reader at school. After a mutual discovery leads to pregnancy, she seeks an abortion and encounters her mother and coach at the hospital. Kicked out by her father, she moves in with Lydia and Sam. She agrees to skip parts with Sam during an intimate moment but ultimately keeps her baby, Shannon, and permanently settles with the group.
