Dina's first husband and co-owner of the Reinsnes port. Initially courting Dina, he marries her and moves to the port with his mother and stepsons. While attempting roof repairs, he sustains a leg injury that develops into fatal gangrene. Overwhelmed by his deteriorating condition and hoping to spare him suffering, Dina ultimately pushes him off a cliff to his death.
