Former lover of Prince Amerigo who remains infatuated with him. Invited to Maggie's wedding, she eventually marries Adam Verver. She and Amerigo rekindle their affair, causing tension within the intertwined couples. After Amerigo rejects her plea to elope, she accepts her marriage to Adam and moves to the United States with him, ending the film.
