Reasonable Doubt: Season 2

After receiving terrible news from a close friend, Jax Stewart returns to work sooner than she expected causing her to feel pressure from work, her friends and Lewis.

Lou mistakenly sends Mrs. Roach's horse home despite the fact that the animal's fear has yet to be cured, after misinterpreting Amy's description of the horse as "fine". Val Stanton, owner of competitor Briar Ridge Stables, begins spreading rumours about Heartland and their inability to be successful without Marion. Ty's probation officer comes to the ranch while he is showing Amy the jumping course he made for her in the woods. Jack agrees to be Ty's sponsor in place of Marion.

Jax and Corey must work together to find Shanelle before it's too late. Meanwhile, Shanelle's actions lead to a riff in Sally's marriage.

Shanelle get interviewed from jail causing Jax's panic attacks to return as we take a look back on JT and Shanelle's relationship. Meanwhile, Lewis learns of Spenser's new interests at school.

Jax confronts Shanelle on her new theory about the case while Corey reveals to the partners at the firm his frustrations with Jax. In the meantime, Terrence helps Lewis navigate a new problem.

Jax has found herself in a dangerous situation once again, while Lucy's past resurfaces. Adrian takes the stand revealing new secrets as Lewis struggles to keep one of his own.

Jax and Lewis are at an impasse while things get heated at the office with Corey. The prosecution rests on Shanelle's case.

As the defense begins their case, Jax is forced to face a new normal with Lewis. Meanwhile, Lucy struggles to keep her ex-husband out of her life.

After her failed performance on the stand, Sally is hanging by a thread making Jax suspicious. However, Jax and Corey prep Shanelle to take the stand before Jax realizes the truth about JT's murder.

The verdict for Shanelle's case comes back. Jax and Lewis have to figure out what their future looks like.
