Eric Calder, Chairman and boss of Calder's Biscuits, is found murdered while on a business trip in Copenhagen. He had been poisoned with strychnine applied to a box of Calder's biscuits. It is discovered the box had been sent from the village of Badger's Drift, home to Calder's firm.
