A young Canadian-Indian man returning to India to marry Anu. Due to his Manglik status, he marries a tree, which inadvertently binds his spirit to Shashi's. He struggles with cold feet about the marriage and confusion about seeing a ghost. After learning Shashi's tragic story, he helps her find closure by visiting the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, ultimately resolving the haunting and recommitting to Anu.
