A snake demon who takes human form to save and love Xu Xian. She marries him but faces Fahai's opposition. During a monk attack, she is accidentally stabbed by Xu Xian. She recovers, retrieves a magical root for him, and battles Fahai to free him. Though defeated and trapped in the Lei Feng Pagoda, she shares a final emotional reunion with Xu Xian before remaining imprisoned.
