Middle-aged truck driver hired as an unwitting courier to transport a mysterious cargo through war-torn Kosovo to Belgrade. Initially strict about his rules, he reluctantly allows a hitchhiker named Paja inside his truck. Throughout the journey, he witnesses the devastation of the 1999 NATO bombing, shares music with Paja, and remains unaware of what he is carrying. Upon arrival, he discovers the truck was used to smuggle dead bodies into a mass grave. He returns home to his family, ultimately passing on Paja's music cassette to his emotionally distant son to foster connection.
