Mickey is one of the three McLeod children who joins his grandfather at the beach. He participates in constructing and launching the improvised Viking raft to fulfill Gordie's final wish. Later, while using his cousin's computer, he accidentally broadcasts a video revealing his aunt Margaret's mental health struggles, inadvertently sparking family revelations and media attention.
