Romeo's best friend and neighbor who suffers from a debilitating back injury that makes him a target for bullies. He relies on Romeo's protection but later distances himself during his hospital recovery. After a humiliating prank backfires on him, he becomes a target for Morell's wrath. He is nearly attacked by Morell but is saved by Joe, after which he and Romeo reconcile and return to their childhood friendship.
