The Belchers are shanghaied on a cruise ship when the captain requests Bob to be his personal chef. While stuck on the cruise, Gene gets a crush on a talentless ventriloquist's Mae West-inspired manatee puppet, Tina pesters a masseur to give her a massage, and Louise gets cartoonishly-long finger- and toenails at the on-board salon.
Bob's plans for his favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, change when Mr. Fischoeder hires him as a chef, and Linda and the kids to play his family, as he tries to stage a perfect holiday dinner in order to make a former flame jealous.
In this parody of Jaws, Mr. Fischoeder buys a mechanical shark that was used in a movie shot at Wonder Wharf. Teddy, who worked on the movie when he was young, has to battle the shark when it threatens the town's safety.
When Tina accidentally totals the family car, she believes that she is jinxed when she and Bob decide to lie to the insurance agent and end up in insurance fraud.
Gene tries to break up with his new girlfriend, Courtney (voiced by David Wain), after the family finds her annoying. When he tries to, however, he finds out that her dad writes jingles and he could possibly launch his own career. Meanwhile, Linda tries a fad diet. Note: This is the only episode that Courtney's parents have appeared together.
Bob inherits a storage unit from a dead relative, and finds a mentally-disturbed man inside who claims that he was once a clothing store mannequin whose wife went missing when he turned human.
Linda worries that her relationship with Louise isn't as good as it should be, so, much to Louise's chagrin, she forces the young lady to participate in a mother-daughter seminar. With mom away, Tina turns to Bob for a lesson in shaving her legs.

Linda thinks Bob doesn't appreciate her and quits the restaurant to work at a grocery store. In her absence, Bob tries - and fails - to run the place on his own and the kids are stuck in the middle of the marital mayhem. While the restaurant and the house are being fumigated, the Belchers decide to visit Linda's parents retirement community in Florida. Much to the kids' dismay, the retirement community pool is closed for cleaning and they have to find new ways to entertain themselves. Linda discovers that the community is for retirees who participate in swinging. Meanwhile, the kids get hired by a woman in the same village to hunt and take a picture of a python residing in the village forest, which she believes
After the family car breaks down and ruins their plans for a movie night out, the Belchers find themselves competing on the TV game show "Family Fracas!" To the dismay of the program's host, they keep winning and coming back each night...that is until their lucky streak comes to a suspicious end.
After Bob cuts his finger and faints at the sight of his own blood, Linda brings him to the hospital and leaves the kids home alone. Not ones to waste a golden opportunity, Tina, Gene and Louise transform the basement of the restaurant into a makeshift casino. But they get more than they gamble for when landlord Mr. Fischoeder stops by and catches them in action.
