A young sailor who arrives in London with Todd and immediately falls in love with Johanna. After being beaten by the Beadle at Turpin's house, he vows to rescue her. Disguising himself as a wig maker, he successfully smuggles Johanna out of the asylum and hides her in Todd's barbershop.
